Campsites and Aires - Europe 2017


Our trip to Europe in 2017 had to be curtailed after a week so we only stayed at two campsites and an aire in the Netherlands and a motorhome park in Germany.
Site fees were for our 6.7 metre motorhome and two people in May. Please check with sites for latest fees and opening times. Most campsites are signposted from the town.
ACSI CC denotes a site in the ACSI Camping Card low season discount scheme with prices from €11 to €19 including electric hookup (+ tourist tax at most sites). MUN = Municipal site  COM = Commercial site
E denotes price includes electric hook-up, varies between 3A and 10A 
(+E) = electricity at extra charge which we didn't use
wifi where available was found to be sometimes free and elsewhere quite expensive

 Large full facility campsite on edge of town in woods by lake.
Additional motorhome aire type pitches at entrance. Level hardstandings.
Short walk to attractive town centre.

 Otterlo campsite
 Large full facility holiday park with lodges around a lake. Camping area in woods with grass pitches. In small village next to Hoge Veluewe National Park (heathland), and near Kröller-Müller museum, sculpture park and art gallery with bikes for hire.

 Large privately run motorhome park on NW edge of the town. Level hardstandings, some facilities and bar. Half hour walk to large park and Tiergarten (zoo). Note there is motorhome parking listed at the zoo carpark but it was in a deserted remote wooded area.
